Our annual Gala Day will be held on Saturday 7th March, commencing at 9.30am. Details of the schedule will be provided by your coach/manager, however juniors will be playing from 9.30am with lunch to follow at 12pm, and seniors will commence playing at 1pm with warmup commencing at 12.30pm. Please have your drink bottle, sunscreen and mozzie spray with you.
This year will see a name change to our event, which will now be known as the "WNC Doc Yagen Memorial Gala Day", in honour of Paul Vincer, aka Doc Yagen, who sadly passed away in September 2019. Paul was a strong supporter of his daughter Tilly who plays for Waratah, and sponsored our Gala Day in it's 2nd year. We have renamed the event to honour Paul's love of his family, the game of netball, and his generous contributions to Waratah Netball Club from the time the family joined us. |
